Inflection Grants

A US$2,000 equity-free grant for individuals under 25 to fuel personal growth, learning new skills, building projects, and exploring world-changing ideas.

Inflection Grants provides US$2,000 to individuals under 25 who want to turn unusual ideas into reality and make a significant impact. The program aims to support young explorers in learning new skills, conducting research, building projects, creating art, and pursuing scientific endeavors. It focuses on providing a crucial turning point where a small financial push can lead to substantial personal and professional development. Grantees gain access to a global community, the Edge City ecosystem, and support from past recipients. The program nurtures a mindset of continuous learning and building, with many recipients going on to launch multiple projects and potentially secure follow-on funding from Long Journey Ventures. Edge City also creates temporary popup villages globally, offering immersive environments for builders in tech, science, and society to test ideas, collaborate, and build meaningful connections. These 1-2 month gatherings let participants test ideas, meet like-minded individuals, find collaborators, grow their projects, and connect with a community of curious, kind, high-agency people from around the world.
