A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. It lets the site recognise your device on the next request — which is how you stay signed in after moving from one page to the next. We use the word "cookies" here to cover similar storage in your browser, such as localStorage, since the choice you make applies to both.
Every cookie below falls into one of four groups. Only the first is set without asking, because the site cannot function without it — there is no meaningful choice to offer. The other three are off until you turn them on.
Keeps you signed in, remembers this cookie choice, and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. These are set on every visit and cannot be turned off.
Stores convenience choices — saved filters on the scheme and scholarship pages, recently viewed listings — so you do not have to set them again.
Aggregated, non-identifying measurement of which pages are visited, which searches return nothing useful, and where applications get abandoned. We use this to fix the parts that are not working.
Set by advertising and social platforms to measure whether a campaign brought someone here, and to limit how often the same advertisement is shown. Off unless you turn it on.
When you first arrive, the banner offers three options with equal weight: Accept all turns on every category, Reject all leaves only the strictly necessary cookies, and Customise lets you accept some categories and refuse others. Nothing optional is stored while the banner is still open.
Your choice is recorded in a first-party cookie for six months, after which we ask again. To change it before then, use here or the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and refusing optional cookies never limits access to any part of FormEase.
You can ask what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and withdraw consent at any time without giving a reason. Cookie data tied to a device is deleted when you reject the category it belongs to.
We never sell cookie data, and no optional cookie is used to build a profile that decides your eligibility for a scheme.
