The Liveability Challenge 2027

Temasek Foundation

About This Scheme

Asia’s largest sustainability solutions challenge by Temasek Foundation — more than S$5.5 million in grants, development funding and investment for TRL 6–9 climate solutions across Decarbonisation, Cool Earth and Oceans.

The Liveability Challenge (TLC), presented by Temasek Foundation and organised by Eco-Business, is Asia’s largest sustainability solutions platform with a global reach. The 2027 tenth edition launched on 10 September 2026 with a record pool of more than S$5.5 million and a new Oceans theme alongside Decarbonisation and Cool Earth.

TLC connects innovators with catalytic funding and pathways to market for high-potential climate and sustainability solutions. Since 2018 it has attracted thousands of applications globally, shortlisted and incubated 61+ start-ups, and deployed nearly S$18 million in catalytic funding. Selected finalists pitch at the Grand Finale during Ecosperity Week 2027 in Singapore.
