T-Hub
A sector-specific accelerator program for electronics and semiconductor startups with PoC/MVP, offering access to MPW, foundries, EDA tools, mentorship, and funding opportunities.
The AIC T-Hub Semiconductor Accelerator – Cohort 4 is a pivotal sector-specific program designed to propel electronics and semiconductor startups forward. This initiative targets companies that have achieved at least a Proof of Concept (PoC) or Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and are ready to scale their innovations. The accelerator is structured to address the unique challenges within the semiconductor industry, offering a comprehensive suite of resources. Participants gain unparalleled access to crucial infrastructure such as Multi Project Wafer (MPW) shuttle services and established semiconductor foundries. This access is complemented by industry-standard EDA software tools, enabling advanced VLSI front and back-end development, embedded systems design, and PCB layouts. Startups will also benefit from specialized evaluation platforms, facilitating the design, validation, and simulation of fabless designs in collaboration with institutions like CITD.
A cornerstone of the program is its robust mentorship framework, connecting founders with seasoned serial entrepreneurs and researchers from top-tier institutions, including iCreate. This expert guidance extends to solving complex technical issues, navigating market entry, and exploring co-innovation pilots. Furthermore, the accelerator provides strategic government linkages with key bodies like the Indian Semiconductor Mission (ISM) and MeitY, streamlining compliance, certification, and testing processes crucial for market readiness. Startups will also forge valuable industry collaborations and academic partnerships, fostering an ecosystem of co-innovation and knowledge exchange. Beyond technical and strategic support, the program actively facilitates funding opportunities by connecting startups with a broad network of investment entities, including T-Fund, SISF, MeitY's funding initiatives, Indian Angel Network, and a global pool of investors accessible through T-Hub. This holistic approach is geared towards accelerating India's journey toward self-reliance in the semiconductor sector, moving innovations from concept to successful market deployment. The program is a joint initiative of Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, and T-Hub, India’s leading innovation hub, signifying a strong institutional backing for participants.
