About This Scheme

TIDES TBI is a flagship incubation program by IIT Roorkee and DST-NSTEDB, fostering technology-based startup ideas through comprehensive support, funding, and infrastructure.

The Technology Innovation and Development of Entrepreneurship Society (TIDES) Business Incubator at IIT Roorkee is a flagship initiative supported by the National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB) and the Department of Science & Technology (DST). Its primary objective is to catalyze and nurture innovation-driven, technology-based startup ideas originating from academic campuses, as well as those brought forth by individual innovators. The program provides a robust platform for the rapid commercialization of technologies, whether developed within IIT Roorkee, other academic/technical/R&D institutions, or by independent individuals. TIDES is dedicated to cultivating a dynamic startup ecosystem by creating vital connections among startups, academia, financial institutions, industries, and other key stakeholders, thereby fostering a collaborative environment conducive to growth and success.
