IHFC (IIT Delhi) invites MedTech startups with working prototypes to apply for funding up to ₹5 Crore and accelerate deep-tech innovation in healthcare.

SwasthyaTech Synapse 2026 is a significant initiative spearheaded by IHFC (I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics), the Technology Innovation Hub of IIT Delhi, operating under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. This program aims to serve as a pivotal launchpad for researchers and innovators who possess a working prototype in the healthcare technology sector.

The core objective of SwasthyaTech Synapse 2026 is to accelerate deep-tech innovation in MedTech. It achieves this by fostering robust industry collaborations and providing crucial funding support, enabling the transition of promising prototypes into deployable solutions. The program emphasizes areas critical to the future of healthcare, including medical robotics, smart medical devices, assistive technologies, advanced diagnostics, and nanomedicine. By bringing together academic excellence from IIT Delhi and clinical insights from AIIMS New Delhi, along with design expertise from Tata Elxsi, the program creates a unique ecosystem for comprehensive product development and market readiness. It seeks to address pressing healthcare challenges through technological advancements, offering a structured pathway for innovators to validate, refine, and showcase their solutions to a broader expert audience and potential deployment partners.
