About This Scheme

Grants of up to ₹50 lakh from C-CAMP and TANUH (IISc) for Indian startups building AI solutions for non-communicable diseases, from idea to deployment.

The TANUH - C-CAMP Innovations Program is run by the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) with the TANUH Foundation (Translational Artificial Intelligence for Networked Universal Health Care), the AI Centre of Excellence in Healthcare hosted at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). It looks for promising Indian-developed, AI-based innovations that tackle priority non-communicable diseases (NCDs).

Focus areas include, but are not limited to: cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases; cancer (oral, breast, cervical and lung); chronic respiratory disorders; musculoskeletal disorders; and metabolic liver diseases.

Support is matched to the stage of the technology. The program will back a total of 8 innovations across three categories from a ₹2.25 crore grant pool:

Applications open on 7 September 2026 and close on 28 September 2026.

Benefits

Selected startups get a grant sized to their stage: up to ₹15 lakh for Idea to Proof of Concept (TRL 1–4), and up to ₹50 lakh for Proof of Concept to MVP (TRL 5–7) or Deployment (TRL 8–9).
The total grant pool is ₹2.25 crore across 8 innovations.
Alongside the grant, the program offers incubation support, access to C-CAMP's technology infrastructure, mentorship and handholding, regulatory guidance and IP support, and clinical validation and pilot deployment support.
