Up to Rs 3 lakh per MSME for cleaner technology and pollution-control upgrades, subsidised 50-80%.
Under the MSME Sustainable (ZED) Certification Scheme, up to Rs 3 lakh per MSME may be used towards technology upgradation for moving to zero effect solutions, pollution control measures or cleaner technology. Utilisation is subject to the consultant's recommendation, verification by the respective MSME-DI and approval by the PMAC. The Ministry subsidises the support at 80% for Micro, 60% for Small and 50% for Medium enterprises. An additional 10% subsidy is given to MSMEs owned by Women/SC/ST entrepreneurs or located in the North Eastern Region, Himalayan, LWE, island territories or aspirational districts, and a further 5% to MSMEs that are also part of SFURTI or the Micro & Small Enterprises Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP). A minimum Bronze ZED certification is required.
