Up to Rs 2 lakh per MSME for consultancy and handholding to move towards Zero Defect Zero Effect.
Under the MSME Sustainable (ZED) Certification Scheme, a provision of up to Rs 5 lakh per MSME is available for handholding and consultancy support to help enterprises move towards Zero Defect Zero Effect solutions. Of that provision, up to Rs 2 lakh may be used for handholding support delivered through empanelled consulting organisations. The Ministry subsidises this support at 80% for Micro, 60% for Small and 50% for Medium enterprises. An additional 10% subsidy applies to MSMEs owned by Women/SC/ST entrepreneurs or located in the North Eastern Region, Himalayan, LWE, island territories or aspirational districts, and a further 5% for MSMEs that are part of SFURTI or the MSE-CDP programme. A minimum Bronze ZED certification is required.
