Ladakh Quality Certification Subsidy

35% reimbursement (max Rs. 5 lakh) on in-house testing facilities and national or international quality certification for Ladakh industrial units.

Under the Sustainable Industrial Policy Ladakh 2022-27, industrial units that set up in-house testing facilities and equipment or obtain quality certifications can claim back 35% of what they spent, up to Rs. 5 lakh.

Both new units and existing units (irrespective of substantial expansion) are covered. The incentive is sanctioned only once the unit actually obtains a national or international quality mark such as GMP, ISO, BIS, FPO, BEE, AGMARK, ECOMARK, ZED Rating or GHP. Machinery or equipment used directly in the manufacturing process or in rendering services is excluded — this is for testing and certification spend only.
