J&K Automation Subsidy

About This Scheme

25% subsidy on automation investment, up to ₹2 lakh, for industrial units in Jammu & Kashmir.

Under the Jammu and Kashmir Industrial Policy 2021-30, a unit that invests in automation can claim 25% of that spend, capped at ₹2 lakh.

The policy attaches one condition worth reading before you claim: the same automation expenditure must not already have been claimed under CII or a similar scheme. If you have taken support elsewhere for the same machinery, this subsidy is not available on top of it.

All industries in the UT, including commercial and institutional units, are covered.

Benefits

  • A 25% subsidy on automation investment, capped at ₹2 lakh, paid against actual expenditure.
  • The support is exclusive — it cannot be claimed if the same automation has been funded under CII or a similar scheme.
  • Open to all industries in J&K under the Industrial Policy 2021-30.
