About This Scheme
30% subsidy on the cost of procuring a quality certificate, up to ₹2 lakh, for units in Jammu & Kashmir.
Under the Jammu and Kashmir Industrial Policy 2021-30, a unit that obtains a quality certificate can claim back 30% of the procurement cost, capped at ₹2 lakh.
The claim must be certified by a Chartered Accountant. It covers the fees a unit spends getting its product or process certified — the kind of spend that is unavoidable before selling into institutional or export channels but rarely budgeted for by a small manufacturer.
All industries in the UT, including commercial and institutional units, are covered.
Benefits
- A 30% subsidy on what you spend procuring a quality certificate, capped at ₹2 lakh.
- It is paid as a reimbursement against actual expenditure certified by a Chartered Accountant, so you fund the certification first and claim afterwards.
- Open to all industries in J&K under the Industrial Policy 2021-30.
