Startup Assam - Fiscal Incentive Package (GST Reimbursement, Power Subsidy & More)

About This Scheme

Status: active. Startup Assam offers a package of fiscal incentives to startups holding a valid MASI (My Assam Startup ID): annual GST reimbursement, power subsidy, lease rental reimbursement, patent filing support, and a digital upgradation subsidy. Separately, a Sarothi scheme with a Rs 10 crore corpus and 5% interest subvention on bank loans are also available.

Eligibility Criteria

  • LLP, private limited company, or partnership firm registered in Assam
  • Startups not older than 7 years
  • Eligible stage: early stage
  • Eligible stage: growth
  • Must hold a valid MASI (My Assam Startup ID)

Benefits

Startup Assam provides a bundle of reimbursement-based incentives (GST refund, power subsidy, lease rental reimbursement, patent and digital-upgradation support) to MASI-registered startups, plus a smaller Rs 10 crore Sarothi seed corpus and 5% interest subvention on loans.
