About This Scheme

Status: active. StartinUP is the Government of Uttar Pradesh's nodal startup program, backed by a Rs 1,000 crore corpus fund routed via SIDBI-managed AIFs. It provides seed-stage support through a one-time prototype grant and Seed Capital / Marketing Assistance, plus a monthly sustenance allowance.

Eligibility Criteria

  • DPIIT-recognized startup
  • StartinUP-registered startup
  • Eligible stage: pre seed
  • Eligible stage: seed
  • Must be DPIIT and StartinUP registered
  • Seed Capital/Marketing Assistance capped at 25 startups per incubator per year

Benefits

Uttar Pradesh's StartinUP program offers a one-time prototype grant of up to Rs 5 lakh and Seed Capital/Marketing Assistance of up to Rs 7.5 lakh per startup (plus a monthly sustenance allowance), with a newly cleared 2026 policy reportedly increasing these amounts to Rs 10 lakh and Rs 15-50 lakh respectively.
