The IDFC FIRST Bank IGNITE Accelerator Program, implemented by BITS Pilani through PIEDS (Pilani Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Society), is an initiative designed to bolster high-potential, revenue-generating early-scale startups. It specifically targets ventures building solutions with measurable social and environmental impact in the critical areas of climate tech and health tech. The program is committed to addressing some of India's most pressing challenges.

Through this accelerator, selected startups benefit from the combined strengths and extensive networks of IDFC FIRST Bank and BITS Pilani. This collaborative ecosystem provides comprehensive guidance, valuable resources, and structured support crucial for strengthening business models and scaling impact. A key differentiator of the IGNITE program is its rigorous emphasis on demonstrating tangible community impact, achieving ESG-linked milestones, and employing robust impact measurement frameworks.
