IIM Kashipur FIED SC-ST Accelerator

A blended Business Accelerator Program by IIM Kashipur FIED for SC/ST entrepreneurs, offering 6 months of mentorship, market access, government procurement readiness, and a residential immersion.

The Business Accelerator Program (BAP), organized by FIED at IIM Kashipur and supported by the National SC-ST Hub (NSSH) Scheme under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, is designed to empower existing and aspiring SC/ST entrepreneurs. This intensive program offers a unique blend of online and on-campus learning, coupled with dedicated mentorship to foster business growth and market readiness. It aims to bridge critical gaps faced by entrepreneurs from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities, equipping them with the strategic insights and practical tools necessary to scale their ventures.

Participants will engage in a comprehensive curriculum delivered through hybrid learning, including a pivotal 7-day residential immersion at the IIM Kashipur campus. The program goes beyond conventional training by providing extensive handholding, facilitating market access, and preparing businesses for government procurement opportunities, including registration on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). The ultimate goal is to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of SC/ST-led enterprises, enabling them to contribute significantly to the national economy. Successful completion is recognized with a joint certification from IIM Kashipur, NSSH, and MoMSME.
