RKVY RAFTAAR SAIP Cohort 8 Grant 2026

ABIS-TBI, R ABI Centre, TNAU, Coimbatore

About This Scheme

The RKVY RAFTAAR Startup Agribusiness Incubation Programme (SAIP) Cohort 8 offers grants up to ₹25 lakh and incubation support to agri & allied sector startups with innovative Minimum Viable Products.

The ABIS-TBI, R ABI Centre at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, is inviting online applications for its SAIP Cohort 8 program under the PM-RKVY - RAFTAAR scheme. Identified by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, RKVY Division, New Delhi, since 2019, ABIS-TBI aims to support start-up companies in the agri & allied sectors that possess innovative Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and are ready for scaling up.

This program focuses on nurturing promising agribusiness ventures by providing crucial financial assistance in the form of a grant-in-aid of up to ₹25 lakh, along with comprehensive incubation support. Participants will benefit from extensive mentoring by industry experts, technical guidance, and business development assistance. The two-month incubation program is designed to equip entrepreneurs with the necessary skills and knowledge to refine their business models, develop their products, and strategically position themselves for growth. Startups with innovative products or processes are highly encouraged to apply, particularly those willing to actively engage as members of the Technology Business Incubator at TNAU, Coimbatore. This initiative is a vital component of the government's efforts to foster entrepreneurship and innovation within the agricultural landscape of India, ensuring that new ideas and technologies can effectively contribute to the sector's advancement.

The program has a strong track record, having successfully conducted seven cohorts of both the Agripreneurship Orientation Programme (AOP) and the Startup Agribusiness Incubation Programme (SAIP) from FY 2019-20 to 2025-26, demonstrating its commitment to sustained support for agricultural startups.
