About This Scheme

Status: rolling. FITT (Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer) at IIT Delhi administers the NIDHI-Seed Support System (NIDHI-SSS), a DST scheme, providing seed funding to technology startups incubated at FITT, alongside other schemes such as BIRAC SEED/LEAP funds and SISFS hosted at the same incubator.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Private limited companies under Companies Act 2013
  • Individuals/LLPs holding government innovation grants
  • Eligible stage: early stage
  • Technology-driven startup, preferably within first 5 years
  • Resident Indian citizens must hold majority (>50%) of shares

Benefits

DST-backed NIDHI-SSS seed funding of up to Rs 1 crore for technology startups incubated at FITT, IIT Delhi, with additional BIRAC and SISFS seed schemes also available through the same incubator.
