Prabodhan's Ace the Case

A consulting case competition by IIM Indore for MBA students — ₹2,00,000 prize pool, open to top Indian B-schools.

About Ace The Case is the consulting case competition of Prabodhan, the flagship Leadership & HR Conclave organized by the Corporate Interaction Committee (CIC), EPGP, IIM Indore. It challenges student teams to step into the shoes of management consultants and solve a current business problem drawn from a high-growth sector of the Indian economy. Participants will build a structured recommendation backed by data and financial reasoning and defend it before a panel of judges from industry and academia.

Who Should Apply Open to all students currently enrolled in a full-time or executive management program (MBA/PGDM/EMBA) at recognized institutions mentioned in the eligibility section.

Competition Format The competition consists of two rounds. Round 1: Case Solution Submission — Teams receive the detailed case document and submit a written solution (slide deck in PDF format) within 14 days. Round 2: Grand Finale — The top 10 teams present their solutions live to the judging panel, followed by a Q&A session (10-minute presentation + 10-minute Q&A per team).

Timeline Registration Closes: 27th July, 11:30 PM. Case Release: 28th July. Round 1

Submission Deadline

• 7th August, 11:59 PM. Finalists Announcement: 10th August. Finale Presentations: Between 10th–12th August. Winner Announcement: 14th August.
• Prizes 1st Prize: ₹1,00,000. 2nd Prize: ₹60,000. 3rd Prize: ₹40,000. Certificates of Merit for all finalists. Participation Certificates for all registered teams.
• Eligibility Open to students pursuing a full-time or executive MBA/PGDM/equivalent management program at IIM BLACKI, ISB, XLRI, and SPJIMR.
• Each participant may be part of only one team.
• All team members must have a valid Unstop account.
• Rules Round 1 submissions must be in PDF format with a maximum of 10–12 slides, excluding cover page, index, and thank-you slide.
• All submitted work must be original.
• Plagiarism or undisclosed AI-generated content will result in disqualification.
• Late submissions will not be accepted.
• The decisions of the judges and organizers are final and binding.
