About This Scheme
Status: rolling. Venture Center hosts a seed fund (corpus of approx. Rs 2 crore) under BIRAC's 'Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development Fund' (SEED Fund) scheme. It provides early-stage equity/equity-linked financial assistance to technology/IP-driven startups resident at Venture Center.
Eligibility Criteria
- Private limited company
- Startups with minimum 51% Indian citizen ownership
- Eligible stage: early stage
- Incorporated within 5 years
- Must be resident incubatee at Venture Center
- Entrepreneurs must be willing to share equity (up to 10% stake)
