ASPIRE - A Scheme for Promotion of Innovation, Rural Industries and Entrepreneurship

About This Scheme

Status: active. Scheme to set up a network of Livelihood Business Incubators (LBIs) and Technology Business Incubators (TBIs) to promote innovation, entrepreneurship and agro-based/rural industry. Funding is provided to eligible institutions to establish incubation centres, not directly to individual startups.

  • Universities
  • MSME Development Institutes
  • Funding is to the institution setting up the incubator, not directly to individual startups

Benefits

Funding of up to Rs 1 crore (government agencies) or Rs 75 lakh (private agencies) to eligible institutions for setting up Livelihood or Technology Business Incubators that support rural/agro-industry entrepreneurship.
