EchoSphere is a hybrid AI hackathon organised by KNOTiC in partnership with Agora, inviting developers, students, startups, and AI enthusiasts to build the next generation of real-time conversational AI applications using Agora Conversational AI. This is not a typical chatbot hackathon — participants are challenged to create voice-native AI experiences that can hold natural conversations, handle interruptions, remember context, call external tools, and take meaningful actions in real time.

Who Should Apply Open to students, working professionals, developers, founders, and AI enthusiasts. Participants may join individually or in teams of 2–4 members. Each participant can be part of only one team.

Tracks / Themes Participants can choose from multiple real-world problem statements including AI sales agents, classroom co-teachers, incident commanders, multilingual customer support, and adaptive AI interview panels. There is also an Open Innovation Track for teams to build any innovative solution showcasing the power of real-time Voice AI.

Format & Timeline The hackathon runs from July 22 to August 21, 2026. Throughout the event, participants have access to workshops, technical mentorship, office hours, and guidance from industry experts. The event culminates in an offline Grand Finale in Delhi, where shortlisted teams demonstrate their working prototypes live before an expert judging panel. Finalists must present in person unless an exception is approved. Evaluation criteria include Innovation & Creativity, Use of Agora Conversational AI, Technical Implementation, Quality of Voice/Conversational Experience, Real-world Impact & Usefulness, Product Readiness & Scalability, and Live Demo & Presentation.

Prizes Winner — $1,100 (approx. ₹1,01,200) 1st Runner Up — $800 (approx. ₹73,600) 2nd Runner Up — $600 (approx. ₹55,200) 3rd Runner Up — ₹500

Eligibility Open to students, working professionals, developers, founders, and AI enthusiasts. Teams of 2–4 members. No geographic restriction — open to participants globally, with the Grand Finale held in Delhi.

About the Organiser KNOTiC is an Indian platform that organises hackathons, competitions, and skill-building events for students and professionals. This hackathon is run in collaboration with Agora, a global leader in real-time engagement APIs.

How to Apply Registration deadline is August 21, 2026. Apply via the official Unstop event page linked above. Teams must submit a project name, description, selected track, team details, GitHub repository, working demo link, demo video, architecture/tech stack, and explanation of Agora integration.
