TIDE 2.0 (Technology Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurs)

About This Scheme

Status: active. MeitY scheme delivered through a network of approved incubation centres to support ICT-focused startups working on electronics, robotics, IT/ITeS, AI, deep learning and other cutting-edge technologies. Provides an Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR) stipend for idea/proof-of-concept stage and grant support for prototype-stage startups, plus one year of pre-incubation support.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Startups incorporated in India with minimum 51% equity held by Indian citizens
  • Eligible stage: idea
  • Eligible stage: pre seed
  • Applicant must be an Indian citizen
  • Applicant must have completed minimum 4 years full-time UG/PG education in science/engineering (or 3-year diploma plus 2 years relevant work experience)
  • Grant recipients expected to pursue entrepreneurship full-time

Benefits

EiR stipend of up to Rs 4 lakh (idea/PoC stage) and grant support of up to Rs 7 lakh (prototype stage), each with one year of pre-incubation support, delivered through MeitY-approved incubation centres.
