About This Scheme

Status: active. DPIIT scheme providing early-stage financial assistance to DPIIT-recognized startups for proof of concept, prototype development, product trials, market entry and commercialization, disbursed via approved incubators. Total outlay of INR 945 crore to support an estimated 3,600 entrepreneurs through 300 incubators.

Eligibility Criteria

DPIIT-recognized private limited companies
DPIIT-recognized LLPs
Eligible stage: idea
Eligible stage: pre seed
Eligible stage: early stage
Incorporated not more than 2 years before application
Sole proprietorship and public limited companies not eligible
Must not have received more than Rs 10 lakh in funding/aid from Central or State Government schemes (excludes prize money from competitions/grand challenges)
Applicant must shortlist up to 3 DPIIT-approved incubators

Benefits

Government seed funding of up to Rs 20 lakh grant (proof of concept/prototype) and up to Rs 50 lakh via convertible debentures/debt (market entry/scaling) for early-stage DPIIT-recognized startups, disbursed through approved incubators.
