An interest-free loan scheme by the Government of Goa to support local industries in developing export markets through participation in international shows/exhibitions and market study tours.
The "Goa State Export Market Development Scheme, 2008," launched by the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce, Government of Goa, aimed to bolster Goan industries by facilitating their entry into and expansion within international export markets. The scheme was designed to support businesses in establishing their products globally, thereby stimulating economic growth and creating employment opportunities within the state. It offered crucial financial assistance in the form of interest-free loans to cover expenses related to participating in international trade shows and exhibitions, as well as conducting overseas market study tours. This initiative was a strategic effort to enhance the competitiveness of Goan industries on a global scale. The scheme was active from its launch in 2008 until March 31, 2011.
