About This Scheme

50%–80% subsidy on LEAN manufacturing implementation for MSMEs

Government-subsidised implementation of LEAN manufacturing techniques (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping) in MSME clusters. Subsidy: 80% for Micro, 60% for Small, 50% for Medium on the cost of LEAN implementation. Additional 10% for Women/SC/ST or units in special geographic areas.

Benefits

  • The LEAN scheme covers 80% (Micro), 60% (Small), or 50% (Medium) of the cost of implementing LEAN manufacturing techniques, with an additional 10% subsidy for Women/SC/ST-owned units and those in special geographic areas.
  • Subsidy is non-repayable and no equity is taken.
  • Beyond the financial benefit, participating units gain access to certified LEAN consultants and structured handholding, leading to measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and waste reduction that strengthen long-term competitiveness.
