The Faculty of Arts offers a limited number of conference grants to graduate coursework students in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (GSHSS).

Eligibility for the Faculty of Arts Graduate Coursework Conference Grants

To be considered for this grant, you must: Have received an invitation to attend and/or present at a conference Obtain written confirmation from course coordinator that the conference is relevant Be currently enrolled in Graduate coursework (GSHSS) Have completed at least 37.5 points and one semester of study Agree to report conference outcomes (written or presentation) Provide receipts for expenses (registration, travel, accommodation)

Value of Faculty of Arts Graduate Coursework Conference Grants

  • These grants provide a one-off payment of up to $500 for local conferences, up to $1000 for interstate conferences, and up to $2000 for overseas conferences.
  • The amount awarded will correspond to a percentage of the documented conference registration, travel, and accommodation costs.
