Eligibility Criteria for Graduate Professional Communication Award

  • Applicants must: Be registered full-time or have been registered full-time within the past calendar year in the Department of English Language and Literature.
  • Be enrolled in a graduate program (Master’s or Doctoral level).
  • Submit work related to applied professional communication or communication design created during the previous academic year.
  • Be either nominated by a faculty member or submit eligible work created for a course or co-op placement.
  • Value of Graduate Professional Communication Award: One award valued at $400 is granted annually.
  • Application Process: The Department solicits nominations from faculty members.
  • Students may also directly submit eligible work completed for a course or co-op placement during the past academic year. Selection is made automatically by the Faculty/Department.
