Eligibility Criteria for Hira and Renu Ahuja International Graduate Scholarship

• Applicants must: Be registered full-time in a Master’s or Doctoral program in the Faculty of Engineering.
• Maintain a minimum academic average of 80%.
• Be either: an international student who graduated from one of the following IITs: IIT Delhi IIT Mumbai IIT Ropar IIT Roorkee IIT Kanpur IIT Kharagpur or a Canadian Permanent Resident who graduated from an IIT or NIIT/NIT in India.
• Be enrolled in one of the eligible engineering programs.
• Preference is given to candidates who identify as women in fields where women are underrepresented.
• Maintain full-time registration and good academic standing to continue receiving the award.

Value of Hira and Renu Ahuja International Graduate Scholarship

• Scholarships valued at up to $10,000 annually. Master’s students may receive funding for up to two years. Doctoral students may receive funding for up to four years.
• Application Process: No separate application is required.
• Eligible students are identified and selected automatically by the Engineering Graduate Office in consultation with Sanjeev Bedi.
