Eligibility Criteria for Jack Rosen Memorial Award for Environmental Innovation

Be full-time undergraduate or graduate students at University of Waterloo Be enrolled in any year within the Faculty of Environment Present an innovative idea (device, process, or method) addressing an environmental issue Participate individually or in a team of up to three students.

Value of Jack Rosen Memorial Award for Environmental Innovation

One grand prize of $2,000 is awarded to the best idea. Up to two additional honourable mentions of $500 each may also be awarded.

Application Process

• Applicants must submit an application that includes a digital poster presenting their environmental innovation idea.
• The top 10 entries are shortlisted for public display and voting, followed by final evaluation by an independent judging panel.
