Scholarship value: Partial Funding, AUD 39,069 per annum Australian National University has initiated the University Research Scholarship to support high-achieving HDR students who are conducting research that aligns with the strategic directions of the University.

Eligibility Criteria for the ANU University Research Scholarships

• Applicants must be domestic students or international students enrolled in an accredited HDR course of study at the University
• Applicants must have achieved a minimum of H1 or H1 equivalent in their prior studies.
• Applicants must provide English Language requirements.
• Applicants must demonstrate an excellent academic record.
• The award will be available each year to a prospective or continuing student.

All eligible candidates are automatically considered for the scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship

• Successful applicants of the ANU University Research Scholarships will receive a stipend of the value of $38,154 per annum along with the following benefits: Travel and Removal allowances for students relocating to Canberra to commence their research program.
• Thesis allowance.
• Dependant Child allowance (International students only) Paid medical, maternity, and parental leave.

• Round 1 Domestic
• Students- 31 October. Round 2 (International and Domestic)- 15 April.
