  • Scholarship value: Partial Funding, Up to GBP 3,000 Birmingham City University offers merit-based scholarships each year to acknowledge the abilities of our overseas students.
  • These awards are deducted from the total cost of their tuition.
  • A partial stipend of up to £3,000, deducted from tuition costs, will be available to all overseas students starting postgraduate courses in January 2026.
  • Eligibility for International Merit-based Scholarship at Birmingham City University: The scholarship is available to International students.
  • The students should enrol themselves in an eligible postgraduate course. The applicant must commence the studies in January 2026.

Selection Criteria and Value of the Scholarship

  • This is given out depending on your educational history, and the grade you receive must be comparable to a degree from the UK: £2,000 for those with a first-class degree £1,500 in the case of a 2:1 or Second Class (Upper Division) degree bearer. £1,000 for holders of a 2:2 or Second Class (Lower Division) degree.
