The Himachal Pradesh government launched the 2026 program specifically for female Balmiki family students. Regardless of their status private or government, the chosen individuals will get financial aid for professional and college-level courses at an accredited college in Himachal Pradesh. The selected applicants would be paid INR 18,000 annually. Eligibility Criteria for Maharishi Balmiki Chatravriti Yojana, Himachal Pradesh 2026: Students need to be a female domiciled in Himachal Pradesh. Students should belong to the Balmiki family engaged in unclean occupation. Students must have been admitted to any post-matric or professional course at any private or government institute/college.
