The generous Dean’s Award scholarships aim to recognise and support outstanding international students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership qualities, and a commitment to the betterment of society.

Eligibility

  • You must have received and accepted an offer to study on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programme at University College Birmingham starting in September 2025.
  • Part-time courses, distance learning courses or other levels of study are not eligible.
  • You must have overseas fee status and be paying overseas tuition fees.
  • Home fee payers are not eligible.
  • The minimum requirements are 144 UCAS tariff points (or international equivalents) for undergraduate programmes and a 1st-class honours (or international equivalents) for postgraduate programmes.
  • You agree to provide testimonials, feature in case studies and/or participate in marketing activities upon request

How to Apply

  • The applicant must obtain an offer.
  • They must submit their application via this link (now closed) for the Dean’s Award by 31 May 2025.
  • Include a personal statement, and within 500 words, demonstrate your achievements in your field of study, your career aspirations, and your contribution to the betterment of society.
