The Tom Benson Bursary supports University of Melbourne medical students with a physical disability who are experiencing financial hardship. Established through a gift from Dr Michael and Dr Ida Benson, it provides financial assistance to help eligible students continue their studies.

Be enrolled in a Medical course at the University of Melbourne. Have a physical disability. Provide evidence of financial need.

Value of Tom Benson Bursary

Recipients receive a one-off bursary of up to AUD 2,000 (approximately AUD 2,000, depending on the income generated from the endowment).
