The Higher Education Department of the Government of Odisha has launched the Vyasakabi Fakirmohan Bhasabruti Scholarship 2025, which is open to general, ST, SC, OBC, SEBC, and EBC community students in the state. The program seeks to incentivize deserving individuals to pursue doctoral and undergraduate studies in Odia language education. The chosen applicants will get an INR 20,000 one-time financial award for Undergraduate level and 30,000 for Postgraduate level.

  • Eligibility Criteria for Vyasakabi Fakirmohan Bhasabruti Scholarship 2026: Students need to have a domicile in Odisha.
  • Students must belong to the General/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Scheduled Caste (SC)/Other Backward Classes (OBC)/Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC)/Economically Backward Class (EBC) Category.
  • Students should have obtained a minimum of 70% marks in aggregate at the Class 12 examination and 60% in Odia(Honors) undergraduate level, conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha.
  • Application Process: Students need to submit an application form ONLINE only.
