The Department of Surgery and Cancer Bursaries at Imperial College London provides funding for students accepted onto eligible postgraduate Master's (MSc and MRes) programmes within the department.

Eligibility Criteria of the Department of Surgery and Cancer Bursaries

  • Applicants must have received an offer of admission to one of the eligible postgraduate programmes within the Department of Surgery and Cancer at Imperial, starting in Autumn 2026.
  • To receive the funding, applicants must accept their offer and meet all conditions of admission.

Application Process

  • Once applicants receive an offer of admission, they are invited to submit a short written statement (maximum 500 words) explaining how the funding would support their studies and contribute to their future or ongoing career plans.
  • The statement should be emailed to Alex Marsh at a.marsh@imperial.ac.uk, including the applicant’s full name, College Identifier Number (CID), and the subject line “Surgery & Cancer funding opportunity.”
