Objective

This scholarship is available to high-achieving international students undertaking the Master of Teaching (Early Childhood), (Primary), (Early Childhood and Primary) or (Secondary) who are citizens of India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, South Korea or Taiwan.

Eligibility for the Education Graduate Scholarship

  • Applicants must be citizens of India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, South Korea, or Taiwan and not Australian or New Zealand citizens, or permanent residents of Australia.
  • Candidates should be commencing postgraduate study as international students at the University of Melbourne for the first time in 2024.
  • Students must not receive any other tuition fee remission scholarship or sponsorship which, in combination with the Melbourne Graduate Scholarship, exceeds 100% of tuition fees.
  • Candidates should not have received any other scholarship provided by the Australian Government in the last 2 years.
  • Applicants should have received an offer to study at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education and go on to enroll as full-time students in the Master of Teaching (Early Childhood), (Primary), (Early Childhood and Primary), or (Secondary).
  • Selection criteria: Eligible students are selected based on academic merit.
