Overview

Eligibility

• Eligible nationalities: Open to UK nationals
• Applicant must be enrolled and attending as a full-time undergraduate student at the University of Northampton.
• Applicant must be studying a Foundation, HNC/D, BA or BSc course.
• Applicant must be a UK (Home) student.
• Applicant must be paying tuition fees of GBP 9,790, or GBP 11,750 for an accelerated course, subject to any applicable government-approved fee increases.
• Applicant must be paying their tuition fees through a student loan, personal funds, or another sponsor.
• Applicant must be from an area of high socioeconomic deprivation, classified as IMD Quintile 1 or 2.
• Applicant must belong to an under-represented group targeted by the fund.
• Applicant must be eligible for student support under UK student support regulations.

Benefits

The successful recipient will receive GBP 500.

How to Apply

• Applicant does not need to submit a separate application for the UON Fund.
• Applicant will be automatically assessed for eligibility for the fund.
• Applicant must meet the applicable eligibility criteria to be considered for the funding.
• Payments received through the fund do not need to be repaid.
• Payments from the fund do not affect maintenance loan payments.
