Eligibility

Eligible nationalities: Open to New Zealand nationals and PR holders
Applicant must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
Applicant must be of Māori or Pasifika descent.
Applicant must have a provisional offer for full-time study or be entering the second or subsequent year of an undergraduate programme in the AUT Business School.
Applicant must intend to reside in an AUT Hall of Residence.

Benefits

Approximately NZD 14,000, subject to the current US/NZ exchange rate, towards board and lodging in an AUT Hall of Residence.

Two scholarships are awarded annually.

Notes

The scholarship is tenable for one year.
Recipients must submit a letter outlining their academic progress to the Scholarships Office by 1 December of the award year.

Selection Process

Recipients are selected by a panel comprising the Business School Deputy Dean and Friends of AUT Inc.
The scholarship may not be awarded if no applicant is considered to have sufficient merit.
