Overview

Eligibility

• Eligible nationalities: Open to all nationals
• Applicants must hold or be working towards a relevant Master's degree with Merit/Distinction.
• Applicants must hold a First Class or Upper Second Class Honours degree, or equivalent.
• Applicants must meet UK Research and Innovation studentship eligibility requirements.
• Applicants must meet the English language requirements of their chosen programme if applying as an international student.
• Applicants must undertake an eligible PhD pathway.
• Applicants must study full-time; part-time study is available only to candidates who do not require a study visa.

Benefits

The scholarship will cover the full stipend and Home tuition fees. The international portion of the tuition fee cannot be funded by the UKRI grant but will be covered for successful applicants by the University of Strathclyde.

• Discuss the proposed project with an appropriate supervisor.
• Develop the project proposal with the supervisor before submitting the scholarship application.
• Submit the scholarship application through the University of Strathclyde's application process.
