The Scottish Government provides funding for the scholarships, which are sponsored by the Edinburgh & SE Scotland City Region Deal. The scholarships are a component of the integrated regional employability and skills (IRES) program's inclusive growth aims and outcomes.

Eligibility Criteria for the University of Edinburgh HCI Skills Gateway Scholarship

• Students need to be enrolled in an eligible postgraduate course.
• The Scholarship is open to all nationals.
• Students must hold an offer for an eligible course with the university.
• Eligible programs: MSc Advanced Sustainable Design MSc Fire Engineering Science MSc Sustainable Energy Systems MSc Urban Strategies and Design PG Dip Sustainable Energy Systems

Value of the Scholarship

The scholarships are tenable for two years and are worth GBP 9,000 for a postgraduate Master, GBP 6,000 for a postgraduate Diploma, and GBP 3,000 for a postgraduate Certificate and will be applied towards the cost of tuition fees.
