• Scholarship value: Only tuition fees, GBP 3,000 In 1995, the University of Bath granted an honorary degree to Sir Jack Cater. He was the first chairman of the Independent Commission Against Corruption in Hong Kong. He then held the positions of Chief Secretary, Acting Governor, and Commissioner in London for Hong Kong.
• This scholarship is given to students at selected Hong Kong institutions on behalf of his family and the Parthenon Trust.
• Eligibility for the Sir Jack Cater Scholarship at the University of Bath: Hong Kong University,
• The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), or Hong Kong Baptist University graduates are the minimum requirements for candidacy.
• The applicant must have a confirmed offer from the University of Bath to enroll in a full-time postgraduate master's program in 2026.
• Candidate needs to have embraced their offer—whether it is unconditional or conditional—firmly.
• Value of the Scholarship: GBP 3,000 discount on tuition fees.
