The Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance, Government of Maharashtra, launched the Maintenance Allowance for SC Students in Professional Courses, Maharashtra 2025 project to offer financial support to state-dwelling SC students who are enrolled in professional courses. The chosen applicants would get up to INR 1,000 per month in maintenance allowance. Eligibility Criteria for Maintenance Allowance for SC Students in Professional Courses, Maharashtra 2025: Students need to be in a domicile in Maharashtra. Students should belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category. Students need to be enrolled in a professional course in a recognized institution. Students must be residing in a hostel (either a government, institute, or outside campus). Students should have an annual income less than or equal to INR 2,50,000 from all sources.
