Criteria

• Citizens of nations that are not members of the EU or EFTA and do not have an agreement with Romania for cultural and educational cooperation are given priority.
• The level of studies covered by this scholarship is Bachelor’s degree, Master's, Postgraduate/residency, and PhD. For doctoral scholarship, the agreement in principle of the scientific coordinator is required.
• Admission of candidates opting for doctoral studies is conditional on passing the entrance exam.
• Applications from students interested in studying business administration and economics, technical sciences, agricultural sciences, and oil and gas will be given preference.
• As long as spaces are remaining, applications from other areas will be considered.
• The Romanian language will be used in all of the courses that the students chosen to win the scholarship take, according to a decision made by the Romanian Agency for Investments and Foreign Trade.
