The John McLeod Prize in Public Health was established in 1995 in honour and memory of Dr. John McLeod and to encourage postgraduate study in public health.

Eligibility Criteria for the John McLeod Prize in Public Health at the University of Auckland 2025

• Applicants must: Be enrolled in the School of Population Health at the University of Auckland.
• Be completing either: Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health, or Part I of the Master of Public Health (MPH) Demonstrate outstanding academic performance.
• Be nominated for the prize.
• Value of the John McLeod Prize in Public Health at the University of Auckland 2025: The Prize be of the value of $500.
