• Scholarship value: Partial Funding, Other benefits Sports Scholarship – Level 2 is one of the Scholarship programs offered at Heriot-Watt University.
• These scholarships are designed to embed a high-performance training environment into a student-athlete’s weekly schedule.
• Eligibility Criteria: Applicants can be of any nationality.
• Applicants must be in the earlier stages of their sports career with the potential to progress to the senior international level in the future.
• Applicants must belong to one of the following criteria: Institute supported athlete Competing at the junior international level Athlete on a Performance Pathway Programme Applicants must be enrolled in any of the undergraduate or postgraduate programs at the university.

Application Process

• All eligible candidates must complete and submit the online application to be considered for the scholarship.
• The candidates must submit references from their Sport’s National Governing Body (Performance Director or equivalent), and their Sports Coach.

Value of the Scholarship

The successful candidates can avail of the following benefits: Educational Workshops, Sport Science support Fitness Testing, Strength & Conditioning – including Physiotherapy support embedded within 1 x S&C session, Recovery sessions including the use of a Hydrotherapy Pool, Physiotherapy – appointments on an individual needs basis
