The Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Foreign Scholarship Scheme invites applications from eligible candidates for the academic year 2025–26 from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Neo‑Buddhist students for special studies abroad. Eligibility Criteria for the Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Foreign Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Caste boys and girls for special studies abroad: Applicants must: Be from the Scheduled Caste / Neo-Buddhist category and a resident of Maharashtra. Hold an Unconditional Offer Letter from a foreign institution ranked within the QS Top 200 at the time of application. Meet age limits: Up to 35 years for PG applicants Up to 40 years for PhD applicants Have a minimum of 55% in the relevant qualifying degree as specified for PG/PhD admission. Have a family annual taxable income not exceeding ₹8,00,000. Not have previously received a similar overseas scholarship from any State or Central government. Be enrolled in a full-time course; executive/part-time/short executive courses are not eligible. Accept that no extension of course duration will be permitted under this grant.
