The Excellence Master Fellowship aims to support academically exceptional students who are pursuing Master’s degrees at the Faculty of Science.

Eligibility for Excellence Master Fellowships

• Applicants Must: Be outstanding and highly motivated students.
• Meet the admission criteria of the chosen Master’s program at the University of Geneva.
• Submit a complete application in the specified format.
• The fellowship is available for Master’s students in the following fields: Physics Biology Astronomy Mathematics Computer Science Pharmaceutical Sciences Chemistry and Biochemistry Earth Sciences and the Environment

Application Process

• All eligible candidates must complete and submit the online application along with the following documents: A Curriculum Vitae (maximum 2 pages).
• A scan of your national identity card or passport.
• Two reference letters from professors attesting to your academic aptitude.
• A transcript of exams passed during your bachelor’s education, with all grades listed.
• A motivation letter explaining your scientific interests and why you want to pursue a Master of Science at the University of Geneva.
• Any other pertinent information, such as GRE scores, TO

Value of the Excellence Master Fellowships

• The fellowship provides a grant amounting to CHF 10,000 to CHF 15,000 per year.
• It is awarded for one year and can be extended for the regular duration of the chosen Master’s program (3 or 4 semesters), provided the applicant is academically successful after the first semester.
