The objective of this scholarship is to award a yearly scholarship to a beginning or first-year gerontology master's degree student.

Eligibility for the Charles and Catherine B. Rice Scholarship at Georgia State University

• Applicants must: Be an entering or first-year master’s student in the Gerontology program.
• Have an outstanding academic record.
• Demonstrate a commitment to improving the quality of life for older adults through: Internships, Volunteering, or Other relevant experiences.
• Show leadership potential in aging/gerontology, supported by a faculty recommendation letter.
